Season 2022/23 sees three Senior Teams fielded in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association and one Senior Team in the Western Suburbs Churches & Community Cricket Association under the leadership of newly appointed Senior Coach Ken Purves.
Ken has been involved at the club for several years as a junior coach, senior player and mentor and brings his wealth of knowledge and expertise to the senior group. Ken has a Level 2 Cricket Australia Coaching Accreditation to go along with his Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Accreditation, Level 1 Triathlon Australia Accreditation and Level 2 Athletics Australia Accreditation.
Our 1st XI will be led by newly appointed Captain Scott Phillips. Scott is a 6 x Premiership Player, 2 x Premiership Captain and 2 x Premiership Coach with a plethora of cricket knowledge. Honing his craft at Frankston Peninsula in Premier Cricket, Scott played 53 1st XI games before becoming somewhat of a cult figure in cricket scenes around the Mornington Peninsula, captaining and coaching at various clubs until he finally made Williamstown Imperials his home in 2021/22. An Eddie Marr Trophy winner in his first season at the Imps coupled with the deserved respect of his peers makes Scott the perfect candidate to lead this club to success in 2022/23. “Keep your eye on the Gold and the Blue”

Home ground - Fearon Reserve, Williamstown
Costs - $350 senior playing membership fee (covers association costs, insurance and training equipment), plus
$10 per game (covers playing balls / umpire fees)
Training - Tuesday and Thursday evenings: 6pm - 8pm - Fearon Reserve, Williamstown (commences 13 September 2022)
Game day - Saturday teams (2022/23 Seasons commence 1 October 2022)
